SO BLESSED

Today I am feeling so grateful and blessed! I have been praying for the last several weeks about my job! Praying for guidance and open doors! I am in a position, being a mom of 4, that working a lot of hours or no hours were my options. I love my job and my co-workers and I did not want to give up my job but paying so much in daycare to barely break even wasn't and option either! A couple of weeks ago I was approached my one of my favorite Providers ( She is a Physicians Assistant) and she wanted me to be her MA! She works in two different clinics but needs me Mon, Tues, Thurs 8-12 and All day Wednesdays! This schedule would work out so well for us because it would mean minimal daycare expenses! I met with My boss today and they offered me this exact position! I was so excited and truly feel that God has opened theses doors! I will be able to keep the job that I love and be home a lot as well! I start this schedule next Monday so wish me luck!

Greatful For Hand Me Downs!

My friend Ashley just brought over a HUGE tub and a large garbage sack of boys clothes for the baby! It took me over an hour to sort through all of them. Unfortunately I refilled a whole garbage sack of things that Sawyer is already too big for! I know a couple of ladies that I can pass them on to as soon as we find out gender 8) I just wanted to take a minute and share how grateful that I am for my friends. In this tough economic time, it would be so easy to sell all of these items for a little bit of cash. I will be paying it forward and hopefully will be able to bless someone with all of these great clothes!

Happy Birthday Dad!

I just wanted to make a point to say Happy Birthday to my dad! My dad may not ever read this but that's ok! I think he knows how important he is to me and how much he is loved! Even at 32 years old I am not ashamed to say that I am a daddy's girl! My dad makes me laugh, can tick me off in an instant and then makes me forget why I was mad to begin with! He is always reliable and I can count on him for anything! I appreciate his positive traits and understand his flaws. I am my father's daughter LOL! We clash at times because we are so much alike!When times are tough we know what to say to lift each other up! He is a great Man, Father and Papa! I LOVE YOU DAD! Happy Birthday!

Life with a two month old!

My idea of a good time...shopping, movies, dinner out, dancing, swimming, traveling! Today I get to do none of these things! I am trying to hold off a chubby baby from eating every two hours! The Dr, thinks he is gaining too much weight! Sawyer was 10lbs 1 oz at birth and now weighs 16 pounds at 2 months! All I can say is....the kid likes to eat LOL! So far the every 3 hour feedings have not been any problem but for some reason (growing spurt perhaps?) he has been screaming at hour 2! I hate listening to him cry but even worse I hate listening to my 4 yr old tell me " you are mean mommy and need to feed my baby brudder!" Zachary has always been full of opinions! LOL He is very protective of Sawyer and I am sure he always will be!
I think we had better take advantage of this gorgeous day and go for a walk and THEN I will feed the baby!
